Shares of beauty company Oddity Tech finished well above their IPO price in their trading debut Wednesday.
Oddity, which priced its initial public offering at $35 a share, started trading at $49.10 and closed at $47.53. The company listed its shares on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the symbol ODD.
The new-issue market remains historically quiet. Oddity’s performance on Wednesday could affect investor appetite for other companies looking to go public this year.
